This is a very new experience for me. I am not the type of person who uses a blog, and I never imagined that I would ever have one. But I am willing and open to figuring it out.
I am happy that we had a lot of snow, it was exciting, but I am not looking forward to digging out my car tonight. I went sledding with my roommates, which was a lot of fun since I have not done it in years. Good times! =P
The "Learning Connections" reading was interesting, and I already learned many advantages to incorporating technology into lesson plans. Since I am interested in art, the part that really pulled me in, was Animation Brings Lessons to Life. It is true, hands on experiences and visuals makes learning not only more fun, but also more effective. The example in the reading, of showing children works of art, and then having children break down the images into individual basic shapes. This helps students begin to create images of their own.
So glad it is Thursday, no classes tomorrow!
I definitely agree that this blogging is a new and interesting experience.
ReplyDeleteThe snow was definitely a lot of fun! I went sledding with my roommates too! How cold was it?
The articles we read were definitely interesting. It's going to be cool to see how to apply technology to making lesson plans, and teaching.
Horray for Thursday!! :) Jersey Shore is on tonight!
Carly, I like your blog. I especially like the photos you have inserted here. You can put even more in. Nice to hear your reflections on the reading that has been assigned. Get more fish in that tank. They look lonesome, or make the tank smaller. Dr. Ries
